Chelsea Rothert discovered her love for yoga over a decade ago while living on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was here that she felt the calling to take her teacher training. She now has well over 500 Hours of training and is a Senior teacher with The Mukti School of Yoga, leading multiple teacher trainings throughout the year. She specializes in Power Vinyasa, Yin & Restoratives, Therapeutics and Pre/Postnatal Yoga. She co-wrote Mukti Yoga School’s 100 hour Prenatal Teacher Training program. As well as being a down to earth Yogi, she is a Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula, helping to educate and guide mothers through the sacred world of pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Chelsea’s yoga classes are challenging yet grounding, creative yet traditional, thought provoking and inspiring, all based on each day’s different energy in the room. Her light-hearted humor and carefree spirit provide something for everyone. In her own personal practice, Chelsea strives for a beautiful combination of pranyama, meditation, grounding asanas and a few yummy restorative poses to finish.  Each practice cultivating her position as a believer-of-balance; recognizing that balance in life, like in the body, is not given, but worked for.

Chelsea is a truth seeker, a life lover and an avid globe trotter. Having traveled to over 10 countries from India to Iceland spreading love, laughter and, of course, yoga. She is known for having a huge heart and also the ability to “tell it like it is.”

Currently residing in Manhattan Beach California, with her loving husband (who is also a yoga teacher) and their newborn baby, she offers weekly Yoga Classes and continues to lead Yoga retreats and Trainings both near and far.

In her spare time you can find her gardening, enjoying the fresh air, or making her beautiful mala beads that she sells throughout the South Bay.
